3 nights in Madrid 25/28.04.2022

In Madrid I spent 3 nights in a hostel (6 bed dorm and had a really good time.

Highlight in Madrid was to met Juan again after 30 years...and seeing the locations from Casa de papel (Money Heist)

Tabernas .. the movie desert

 I stayed 2 nights in Almeria and made a daytrip to Tabernas the movie desert in europe.

Many movies were film here with Clint Eastwood, Bud Spencer and Terence Hill and the german movie, der schuh des manitu..

Malaga is just a one night stop to do my washing

 

4 nights in Gibraltar 18/22.04.2022

 I really enjoyed my days in Gibraltar. I met my friend jason in gib and we swapped lots of coins. Technically I did not stay in Gibraltar but in spain as my hotels were located in algeciras and La linea.

Only one night in Sevilla 17/18.04.2022

 I spent only one night in Sevilla. The the city is beautiful but toooo many tourists.

First day in Spain with Easter Processions Huelva

 To me it was a big surprise as I did not expect anything like this...

On arrival in Huelva I did see lots of chairs for a party later in the day..

But nothing prepared me for the easter processions in the evening

2 nights in Faro to do laundry and plan the next steps 13/15.04.2022

 I arrived by train from Lisbon only 10pm. Quick checkin and in bed...

Today most day doing the laundry and plan/book the next nights ahead.

Finally walking in flip-flops and tshirt.

2 days in Lisbon 11-13.04.2022

After leaving the small town of Coimbra the touristy capital Lisbon is a big shock. I did a 3 hr walking tour, but was done after that tour with culture and spent the afternoon in the more relaxing EXPO Park of 1998. Will go to the money museum on my last day and after that I will take a train south to see the Algarve coast.

Coimbra... what a nice place

Coimbra is half way between Porto and Lisbon. An amazing little town. I did stay 2 nights and met up with my friend Tiago, who showed me around this beautiful town. Just a little rain so far...

06.04.2022 I have arrived in Porto Portugal

 I will start my holiday in Portugal and Spain...

First 3 nights I stayed in Porto, but I was focused on getting coins in Porto and did not do alot of sightseeing...
